With over two decades of HR experience, this is the first time I have come across the concept, ‘Father Manager’. Venkat has successfully introduced this concept in a way that will stay with you for your lifetime. Treating your team members like your children and making them a part of your team forever is simply brilliant. The book looks at eight stages of parenting and draws linkages to a corporate manager-team member relationship. Each father-son stage characteristics is explained with a corporate example and this will ensure that you can easily adapt this behavior and become a successful ‘Father Manager’. I particularly loved the use of Power Words to improve the presentation capability of the team members. Another great chapter is the one which talks about Invisible stickers that managers walk around with. Stickers that have the ability to attract information. Reading this book will open your mind to a new yet simple concept that can be easily adapted. I am hoping that someday, my team members connect with me in a way similar to Freddie. I am wishing Venkat success and I urge him to take this concept as a workshop to the corporate world. He can create an impactful change”

The author beautifully narrates various events and group dynamism, diversity in views and competency. The Father manager handles all interpersonal issues amicably without any ill-will of his children. Father Leader is an ideal role for a successful building a team that performs well in their commercial role and social role for long term positive connectivity.
I see a different dimension in Father Leader and recommend all professionals to try this fatherly style to reach excellent career success.

Considering English is not Venkat’s first language, he shows a clear and tactile understanding of the use of words.

This book reads so well, you become engrossed with the theory and strategy suggested. Having worked in senior management for many years prior to becoming an Author, I delighted in the leadership suggestions.
